Fun, Personalized Orthodontic Care for Growing Smiles

Smiling Boy with Braces

Made for Kids. Designed for Confidence.

For kids and teens, the right orthodontic care can shape how they smile, speak, and feel about themselves.

At All Kids Dental, your child’s orthodontic plan is tailored to their age, bite, and personality. That means they get the care they need in a place where they can feel comfortable and at ease.

We don’t just straighten smiles. We help build confidence along the way.

Find the Right Fit for Your Child

When it comes to orthodontics, there’s no one-size-fits-all. The right option depends on your child’s age, bite, and how they feel about their smile.

Traditional Metal Braces — Our most popular choice! Strong, dependable, and they get to pick the band colors.

Clear Braces — A less noticeable look. Great for teens who want something more discreet.

Invisalign® for Teens — Removable, nearly invisible aligners.

Not sure which is best? Bring your questions to a free consultation. We’ll help you find the right fit, with no pressure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about braces and orthodontics.
How much do braces cost for kids?
+

Every child's treatment is different, so the best way to get an exact price is a free consultation. Costs depend on the type of braces and how complex the case is — we'll give you a clear, full quote before anything begins, with no surprises.

Does insurance cover braces?
+

Many dental and orthodontic plans cover at least part of the cost of braces. We accept most insurance plans and will handle the paperwork for you — and at your consultation, we'll verify your benefits so you know exactly what's covered.

Do you accept Medicaid or CHP+ for braces?
+

We do accept Medicaid and CHP+. Coverage for orthodontics depends on eligibility and medical necessity, so the best step is to schedule a consultation. We'll help you understand whether your child's treatment qualifies.

What's the best age for a child to get braces?
+

Most kids start braces between ages 9 and 14, once enough permanent teeth have come in. But the American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic check-up by age 7 — early enough to catch issues that are easier to guide while the jaw is still developing.

Do braces hurt?
+

Getting braces put on doesn't hurt. It's normal for kids to feel some soreness for a few days after braces are placed or adjusted, but it's mild and easily managed. We walk every child through what to expect so there are no surprises.

How long does treatment take?
+

Most kids wear braces for about 18 to 24 months, but it varies based on each child's needs. We'll give you a personalized timeline at your consultation so you know what to expect from day one.

How often are appointments?
+

After braces are on, most kids come in every 6 to 8 weeks for a quick adjustment and check-in. These visits are short, and we work around school and work schedules whenever we can.

Can my child still play sports or instruments with braces?
+

Yes. Kids with braces can absolutely play sports — we recommend a mouthguard for contact activities — and most adjust to playing wind instruments within a week or two. It's rarely a reason to delay treatment.

What's the first step to getting started?
+

It starts with a free consultation. We'll examine your child's smile, walk through the options, answer your questions, and lay out a plan and cost — with zero pressure to commit. You can request an appointment or call us at (970) 928-9500.
